About Move to Bermuda

I'm Ben, a Brit in the middle of moving from the UK to Bermuda. Most of what I found online while planning was either generic, out of date (plenty of sites still promote the Work From Bermuda certificate, which closed in February 2025), or written for Americans. So I'm writing the guides I wanted to read.

How the guides are written

• Immigration, customs, tax and legal points link directly to the primary source, usually gov.bm or bermudalaws.bm.
• If I can't source a figure, I leave it out rather than guess. Crowd-sourced figures, such as Numbeo, are labelled as crowd-sourced.
• Each guide shows when it was last checked. Rules change, so confirm with the relevant department before you act.
• Research and drafting are helped by an AI assistant, and I review every guide.
